Harrys Moving Castle has the most backwards reading of The Doctor Falls that Ive ever seen. I was able to look past the Heaven Sent/Hell Bent reviews because yeah, Heaven Sent sort of dragged on a bit and I do rather like Hell Bent but like???

ooh noted. i had similar with learning art. if i did it just for fun i'd make no progress, but if i focused only on 'being better' without trying things that i specifically wanted to, i made no progress neither. got it! ^^

I think it mostly comes from 2 factors (atleast for me): How much you train your brain to be able to pull out something that sounds good and if you're trying to force yourself to work instead of letting yourself have fun doing it. If you don't let yourself to have a good time while doing it you won't really get anything, but still, if you just do whatever you're not gonna get better so you still have to train. I've seen that the more you write down stuff from your head, the better you get t it.
