One of my laptops that somehow still works once shot a gray cloud out of its vents while I was updating Linux Mint on it. It could've been a build-up of dust since the laptop hadn't been turned on for at least a year by the time I did that, but the laptop also has a batterly life of 2 seconds, so part of me believes something exploded in it while it was updating. I think I'll install Debian on everything from here on out, or at least be overly paranoid about updating Linux Mint.
btw why media ui is not windows media player? You just get the wmploc (C:/Windows/SysWOW64/wmploc.DLL) and that's all (but use the "257" folder because bitmap assets are the old assets of WMP, also if you dunno how to unpack then use 7-zip)
