It's one thing hearing about riots and protests in a different country or hundreds of miles away from ye, but it's another thing hearing about riots that are happening an hour from where you live, in a town your entire country knows, in the same damn county.

An ugly reminder about the bubbling tension across the entirety of Northern Ireland and how one singular incident sets off the fuse for a great explosion; an important sign that you cannot paper over decades of conflicts and sorrow. Sad.
