I got banned in 2018 and stopped paying attention to the site until recently. I remember there being a Vidlii moderator that was really strict about what was allowed to be said, which pissed off all of the people who left YouTube to find a 200% patriotic free speech alternative. That moderator ended up leaving because he probably hated putting up with the users, but then the moderators who took his place let people say and post anything they wanted, which drove away the normal people and brought in tryhards
Serious question though do any actually normal people use VidLii. every time we go on there all we see is Nazi propaganda, gore videos, and the most unfunny possible soijacks. it's like a kid born in 2009's idea of what 2000s /b/ was
